Please note: For the 2026/2027 academic year, classes are scheduled to begin on September 28th for first-year students, due to the admission tests. For students enrolled in subsequent years, classes will begin on September 21st, as per the academic calendar.
Schedules are subject to change.
To view specific periods dedicated to lectures, exams, and thesis sessions, please consult the Teaching Calendar page.
Because official university systems (Ugov, Syllabus, CercaChi) do not support listing hyphenated or double last names for course divisions, student groups must be balanced manually. To keep class sizes as even as possible when a course is split into two or more sections, the Degree Program Council (session of February 26, 2025) determined that alphabetical splits will be recalculated every year based on active enrollment numbers.
This updated alphabetical split—which applies to all years except the first year—differs from the letter divisions currently shown next to professors' names on CercaChi. The schedule listed on the online timetable is the official one that applies. (Due to technical system limitations, the updated splits cannot be reflected directly on CercaChi).
The table below shows the official alphabetical splits (the actual, active division is on the left):

Professors must update their syllabi and Moodle pages to reflect the letters assigned to them according to the active division shown on the left side of the table (Kairos).
Professors may schedule make-up classes in January and June to compensate for any delayed course starts or missed lectures.
Important: Failure to complete your OFA requirements will block you from registering for and taking the Fundamentals of Mathematics exam (Istituzioni di Matematica).
