1. Credits related to foreign language proficiency are awarded on the basis of certifications issued by the University Language Centre or by other accredited institutions through agreements approved by the Academic Senate.
2. A B2 level of foreign language proficiency is required.

Proficiency Tests

Architecture – Old Curriculum

• 003 – Students enrolled before the academic year 1984/85:
  are not required to take the foreign language proficiency test.
• 003 – Students enrolled from the academic year 1984/85 to 1993/94:
  must take a foreign language proficiency test at A2 level.
  If the exam Scientific English is included in the study plan, the language proficiency test is not required.
• 165 – 261 – 0311 – Students enrolled from the academic year 1994/95 to 2007/08:
  must take a foreign language proficiency test at A2 level (165 – 261 only) – (0311).

Architecture – Master’s Degree Programmes (LM4CU – DM 270)

• B117 – Students enrolled from the academic year 2008/09 to 2013/14:
  must take a B1-level foreign language proficiency test.
• B117 – Students enrolled from the academic year 2014/15 to 2018/19:
  must take a B2-level foreign language proficiency test, written comprehension.
• B117 – Students enrolled from the academic year 2019/20 onwards: must
  take a B2-level foreign language proficiency test, written and oral comprehension.
